Last Thursday Laken Tomlinson visited with my two sons and talked football. He raved about his time at Duke.

Just glancing at some of his highlights.. his style of play would compliment CT’s game some.

Coolidge was 6’8” and a beast inside. We need a transfer built like him to come in for 23’-24’.

Good stuff as always. With Hicks, May & Conway we gotta a nice core to build with but of course we need so much more. Love to see some of our freshman contribute early and often next season… big if! Ultimately we need a lot of luck with transfers that come in. You can scout etc but you don’t always know what you have until mid season. I saw USF land a big from Georgia Tech this season and he was an absolute mess defensively so he went from starting to bench very quickly.

You must have some great Jimmy V stories from PK!! Forgetting the season but I remember a PK team that we beat Dayton on the road early on and Pat was on cloud nine and telling Spiro for us fans to get ready and I was really excited as well and then it just fell apart. I just wonder if PK had SECU if it would have changed his tenure?

Watching Vermont win moments ago depresses me even more. Ugh. Looking back at our season do you think if we played a tougher non conference schedule maybe we make the CAA championship? Vermont went west and played Saint Mary’s, Fullerton & USC. Played Yale on the road. Ok MEAC on now. More anguish to follow as we see some others dance and not us. Go Howard!

My gut has always been that Nic wants to play in the NCAA tournament first and foremost. Some big names listed. He’s a gym rat and happy for him.
