Actually Pat be perfect guy to clean up the New Mexico State program.

I know a coach and team on the hot seat that he’d be a perfect fit to come off the bench for.. Florida just went 9-9 in the SEC. If not for beating former coach Mike White with UGA twice I think Golden may have been fired. He has to win or else next season and he desperately needs a long range shooter.

He played in one of the two games against USF. He’s solid. Defends and can handle. Be a nice fit.

Victor was known more for his artwork if I remember correctly. Someone contact him and see if he will donate a piece we can sell and put in our hoops program coffers.

Reading all the comments thus far and I’m getting depressed. I’m still in that addict form of saying.. “what if Nic & CT return etc!?” “2023-24’ will finally be the season” “what if we add a Euro big who played for the Slovakian Under 23 national team” “Jamie Dixon gonna send us a grad transfer from TCU” I need Towson Hoops rehab and I need it now. Help me!!!

Thanks players and coaches for representing Towson. Huge thanks to Mat and his 24-7 coverage of Towson hoops. Thanks for alums etc chatting about team etc 24-7 whether we agree or disagree you contribute and I enjoy. Not sure what is next. Gonna be a long off season and so many questions to answer. Will be 50 soon and now wondering if I’ll see us dance before I die which I used to joke about but now 32 years later and I’m serious.

Come out fast again and try to get CofC in a hole where they have to shoot more 3’s and they are off. I’m excited and nervous today.. be kind to us basketball gods! On this day back in 2001 George Mason beat UNCW 35-33… I don’t see it being a low scoring game however I’ll take it if we can get the win. Get it done for us Big 3!

If he’s done it numerous times why hasn’t the CAA suspended him? The eye in the sky don’t lie! I don’t remember a Towson player being as scrutinized as Cam has by a fanbase. When he left the team many said he wasn’t coming back etc as if it was guaranteed.

Well said and again this wraps into my entire theme not just with with Towson but college sports overall. Media coverage is incredible in this day and age but it also scrutinizes players 24-7 and at times can be a bit too much. Do we really think Laettner & Hurley were clean players? I watch Drew Timme who I think is such a polished big and his drive to win is excellent but he’s also dirty at times after plays etc. Cam wants to win and he came to back to win. He also came back to the team when many of us had written him off early in conference play. I’m ok with him mixing it up on the floor.

I continue to watch Cam and see Draymond Green in him. In my heart I don’t think he’s being malicious and trying to hurt an opposing player. I think he runs hot and is an emotional player which can help and hurt us at times. He’s got an old school feel to him as well in his game. I’m not him and I don’t know what he’s been through in his life but I do know he lost his last coach and that can really change a player going forward. Overall I think Cam has been a great Tiger these past 2 seasons during a time when college athletes are highly scrutinized via social media 24-7. He’s not perfect and yet we want to hold him to various standards. If Cam is playing for Towson in early 90’s run I think he’d be more embraced by our fanbase etc. Just my thoughts.

Back at it. Crazy to be our first game with these country bumpkins. A win would be nice to carry into next Sunday. Let’s come away unscathed and more importantly let’s play a solid 40 minute game. Goh Tigers

Never in my wildest dreams back as a freshman in the Fall of 1991 would I think that 32 years later the Towson Horse would be our voice of reason 🫣

He did not. I just remember us shooting 7-13 from 3 and still losing.

Seeing all the social media posts from our team down in Charleston today the one thing that struck me besides it obviously being a warmer weather environment for them all was that the team looked super happy and confident to me and just maybe this group is ready to play themselves into a final game on March 7th!

This is a perfect example of how truly great social media posts can be. Very cool.

I know I don’t want to see A&T again as it is always tough to beat a team 3 times.
