I figured it all out last night thanks to the Marvel Universe. This asshole AntMan who seems to always screw up things travels to the Quantum Realm and with this discovery we can change all of Towson State/Towson University Sports Teams fortunes. Question I have for all of you is which year would you like our Final Four appearance to have been??? I was thinking about 2011 and taking VCU out!

Jesse Jackson is an alum. I remember him speaking at the Towson Center and attending. Sadly I don’t remember a word he said and which year it was in the early 90’s but I do remember the LA riots in late April of 1992 and how much creative discussion we had in classes about race relations etc. I walked away so enriched from my Towson State education because of those specific discussions.

Clemson is 7-0 in the ACC and makes me wonder if we win that game does that losing streak ever happen? Great effort today and makes for a fun trip to NC now. Spiro & Jimmy mentioned they didn’t think Gibby is coming back but what a story this would all make if he shows up in March and gives us that Willis Reed lift for the CAA tournament.

Ready to play from the tip. Russell has been our most consistent contributor this season and he gives effort on defense which makes up for when his shooting is sub par. Do whatever we need to do to keep Nic T confident shooting the basketball. Hicks and Conway yet again take good care of the basketball (only 2 turnovers) A ways to go but credit to the players and coaching staff for max effort on Hofstra and Estrada.

PS calls you Matty and he obviously has read our recent comments or someone has relayed to him. I’ll take the win however that was an odd postgame from PS with the “Towson Way” nonsense. He sounded Ambrose today. I’ll take the win as we can’t take any CAA win for granted. I’m irked by his comment about missing players for practices etc cause he makes it sound like this squad has been devastated by injuries and we’ve had very few. I sound like 2012 right now but it sounded like an excuse to me. Credit the 1800 in attendance for supporting this team.

That is absolutely spot on. He did that and we are all better for it. Cam in his class this semester and this situation would be all fixed. He would know exactly what to say to both parties involved actually. Wise beyond his years.

I was there from 91-96’ and I have so many fond memories of Towson. Can’t mention them all but there was a professor who taught I want to say the Psychology of Sport.. Dave ? I believe. Such a fun class and I wish I could go back in time to relive a discussion or two that class had pre internet etc. Silence of the Lambs had previously come out so being a freshman in Tower A we were told that Hannibal Lector was roughly based on a multiple group of individuals one of which was housed at Shepherd Pratt Hospital at one time.. Lastly and this kinda shows our age etc. We had a small yet elegant theater on campus (? in which hall) but they would show movies that had just left the theater but not yet gotten to VHS or cable tv and it was usually a Saturday evening schedule and I remember seeing Rudy and various other flicks. Sliding down the hill next to the Towers when it snowed and seeing some students use their mattresses. I loved the dining hall food and being there when it was raining or snowing cause you could see all around in that fish bowl. Saw Peter Noon at the Towsontown Festival one year. Three Dog Night as well I believe. Being at the Louisville game and Denny Crum wearing his jacket etc. Walking back after in amazement that we had upset them. If only I could go back in time and take down more names of friends and acquaintances so I could find them on social media now and reconnect. My lasting memory is how many sincere good people went to Towson State that I trusted and always enjoyed interacting with. Special place in my eye.

Omg. I remember Professor Vatz.. short guy with thick mustache right!? He was an expert in speech communications etc. I was a Mass Comm major aka Mass Bullshit and here I stand today residing in trash city and worrying about a 10-7 basketball team. 🫣

In an age where we get so much information about a team it is puzzling that coach Skerry won’t discuss the status of Gibson’s injury and of Cam’s specific reason for being away from the team or did I miss his explanation? Just be honest and tell us if Jason has any chance of coming back later this season and what exactly Cam did or didn’t do to miss the last 3 games. Cause as a fan I’m getting more angry with our coach because he’s been acting like Larry Brown since this whole semi-collapse started.. “I gotta play some other guys” “Our Seniors have to play the bulk of the minutes” I like Pat but he’s been all over the place past month with his comments. Obviously we aren’t in the locker room to know exactly what is going on daily but if you clip together his post game comments with the Spiro weekly shows etc and he’s all over the place with this team I sense. He knew what he had coming back and who he was adding and yet we still look so thin in a transfer portal smorgasbord era. I know we will smack Monmouth at home to make us 3-2 at least and keep us afloat. That scene from Major League when Willy Mays Hayes gets picked off in the first game and the NY sports writers give Harry Doyle the blowjob gesture.. that is what it has been for us Towson State/Towson Unversity fans for 30+ years. I want to dance someday damn it.

Wasn’t able to listen or watch due to work but followed via live stats. Pat’s comments after truly tell me it’s over! Team not being ready to play falls on the head coach and his light threats of playing other guys more etc can’t be trusted. We have only had “3” injuries this season.. Washington State has had over 8 and yet they beat Arizona this week. We need to hire a Kyle Smith type of coach who is innovative and wins where ever he goes (he beat Villanova when he was at Columbia) or go get a Tom Crean type who rebuilt Indiana. 😤

“Who knows when we may have some bodies back!?” PS I think we will see Cam, Gibby and Paar return!

I urge you all to google his Q & A from December 9th with pressboxonline.com He’s been through a lot losing his coach. I want to see him return and finish out this season. Not making excuses but post Covid has affected many college age kids in various ways. He’s emotional guy and reminds me a bit of Draymond Green. We need to cut him some slack for now
