Have me laughing but in all seriousness I want this resolved for both parties and knowing Cam lost his coach at UT Martin I think it kinda makes sense now to some of his tweets etc. His father also coached him growing up and coached him extremely hard. I believe he’s a great young man. We need him back in the mix.

A win we needed and now a 2 game win streak. I have a feeling Cam returns for Delaware. Emotions etc can get the best of us. Not easy at times to be a student athlete especially with social media and a small bunch of us old farts who went to Towson before the Internet and now with access 24-7 nitpick almost every play of each game. We weren’t getting Stats like we do now and couldn’t watch most of the road games etc and more importantly we didn’t have a message board to pick on Terence Jacobs if he had an off night. Hope this makes sense. So who knows but I hope truly hope Cam returns and understands we appreciate his services and his loyalty to return this season. What I do know is come next Saturday on youth appreciation day those kids will get to see our end of the bench guys play. Neither Annie or Daddy Warbucks can help the Hawks this season. Enough from me.. I’m getting on Southwest.COM and looking for any deals to Albany, Birmingham, Columbus, Denver, Des Moines, Greensboro or Orlando 🛩

Cam will be back and better than ever I believe. No one is perfect. He came back for a reason and needs to see this through. We as a fanbase needed that win tonight.

Lots to take away from this report… I thought Pat was spot on. I would suggest if he spent 5 weeks recruiting May himself then he needs to do a bit more of that going forward with respect to recruiting efforts. Our trio have to play better plain and simple. Safe to assume now that Gibby won’t be back.. a shame. They need contact daily in practice. Absolutely! Again this is a must win game this evening. He feels the same.

We’ve had some bright spots this season as you alluded to.. UMass etc. Nic had 26 points @UNC Greensboro Charles has 18 & 10 against Coppin Cam had 24 & 10 against Mercer All in November though. We’ve been awful for almost a month now and with a veteran team you shouldn’t be regressing. Drexel this week and we will ultimately know if we are gonna bounce back and start to win games again.

Appreciate your optimism but this is an 8-6 team right now in the midst of a 5 game losing streak so although CofC is an upper echelon team in the CAA we came out not ready to play and dug a hole which with a short bench is never a good thing. Devin Boyd isn’t walking through that door and carrying us at the PG spot. If we had a “go to player” than I wouldn’t be as worried but sadly we don’t. I’m glass half full to the max but good teams don’t lose to Navy at home and good veteran teams don’t lose 5 games in a row. Hope we can still win 10 conference games as I predicted but that is gonna take some outstanding shooting from behind the arc certain nights. Hope our big 3 prove myself and everyone wrong and go bonkers the rest of the way. Must win against Drexel!

Cam is at 66 assists to 56 turnovers right now compared to last season totals which were at 107 assists to 86 turnovers. He’s not a true PG at 6’5” and he’s playing 36 minutes a game. Of course we’d like him to make better decisions with the ball but his assist to turnover ratio playing 36 minutes a game is not that bad but of course he’s gotta have to be stellar the rest of the way for us to pick up conference wins.

Glancing at our stats the past 5 losses and all I can come up with is that our “2” scorers aka Nic & Cam have shot a combined 37 for 105 since they went 15-36 against a Clemson team we almost beat on the road despite allowing them to shoot 14-23 from 3 point range 9-29 vs Navy 10-24 vs N Iowa 9-29 vs Bryant 9-23 vs Charleston I know many have said they expected more from CT he missed some bunnies last game of course.. 20-34 in his last 4 games 4-6 vs Navy 5-8 vs N Iowa 7-9 vs Bryant 4-11 vs Charleston Conway & Russell have given us kinda what we expected points wise! Our other newcomer hasn’t but I’m not blaming him for our lack of success although he was to be highly counted on as a scorer this season. 3 guys injured with only one of them playing right now.. ok that has been a factor but can’t be an excuse with the talent assembled. So with all that being said our trio of projected all conference performers hasn’t performed well enough for us to be winning more plain and simple. 2022-23: Nic 36+ minutes Cam 36+ minutes CT 30+ minutes 2021-22: Nic 33+ minutes Cam 33+ minutes CT 26+ minutes Have the extra minutes on the floor been a detriment to our team this season.. stats say so!

Knowing what we had coming back and I’m sure he tried but we should have brought in another PG guard for this season knowing Gibson had back issues and Hicks still very young etc. Here’s hoping we can build on this second half effort and make a run. We should have come out of the gates blazing today…. Home game against a Top 25 caliber opponent. May was a PTP to open up conference play. More minutes please. On to Drexel who shot 1-13 from 3 and 15-24 from the charity stripe today but out rebounded Mary 41-27 It is a must win come Thursday!

4 in a row is not acceptable and we’ve only had “2” injuries thus far.. I saw where Washington State had “8” injuries this season already. If we knew we had a core coming back then why didn’t Pat add one more veteran player who can…. SHOOT!!! 32% from beyond the arc as a team sucks. Nic & Cam (36 minutes a game) along with CT & Russell (around 30 minutes a game) is what we have for our CAA run. These “4” players have to play at all star level for us to bounce back and win the conference. I’m Mr Optimistic but this is a tall order. 9 days to get ready for conference play. Less than that as they will start back up Monday night. 6 days or so really.

Not at all. We can disagree on topics but we are bonded by Towson so always respect at the end of the day.

Postgame…. “ball security & finishing” Pat now saying he will play the older guys and shorten the rotation. Total 360 from last game. 4 losses in a row.. 9 days off to find themselves. Maybe Gibby comes back and gives us that swagger we lack right now?

Cam is 2-8 from the line and missed two front ends.. not gonna win a conference title that way.
