I guess the question I have for him is with respect to recruiting. The West Florida offense since 2019 has centered around their great offensive line with versatility and chemistry it sounds. They were rushing for 243 yards per game and putting up 43+ points per game. Have to recruit both sides of the ball but will his emphasis be the Offensive line so we can try and replicate the #1 ranked West Florida offense.

Troy Taylor is 54 and just got snatched up by Stanford. I like this hire a lot. This guy recruited for Oregon State when he first got started in college ball. He is very offensive minded and we will be throwing the ball a whole lot more. Maybe not the Air Raid offense but very similar schemes etc.

Omg. You are like a host from Fox News.. never said foul shooting was the sole reason we lost. Pointing out that in a 2 point loss when you leave 7 points off the board it is frustrating and especially at home where we rarely play non conference games and always seem to faulter. I want to see this group succeed. Not a good effort today and I hope they bounce back against Northern Iowa who is down right now and I really hope we get at least one of our PG’s back for it cause we obviously need all hands on deck to win each night.

Getting at.. we blew a game at home is all. Do I have to be positive 24-7 on this board??? And yes foul shots when you lose by 2…. understand we shoot 70% but still aggravating.

3 games left and I believe we can go 2-1 although yes Bryant beat Syracuse and N Iowa is a neutral court game and be nice to have Hicks back in time to help guard Bowen Born. 10 wins in the non conference. Of course I wanted to beat Clemson last night. We still have yet to play an entire 40 minutes of solid smart basketball. May never see it but I’ll take 35+ minutes if we can win the CAA. Stay positive and embrace this group of players. The effort is there. From day one they said it’s the dance or bust.

8-2 record on December 7th. Just battled Clemson at their place without two key players. What am i missing here??? High expectations and this group is holding up their end of the bargain. Of course it fell apart at the end tonight so yeah lack of depth but what did Pat do wrong tonight?

Reading about Prime Time telling players to please jump in the portal. The sports world is so upside down in my opinion. Having a son going through the recruiting process right now for football and instilling in him loyalty and honesty during these nutty times. This all being said I hope our new coach embraces current players on the roster. Yes I understand if a player if unhappy he deserves a chance to move on. However the portal has over 3,000 players or more each off season and it just looks bad to me. Play with the hand you are dealt sometimes.

Listen to us all… the team is 8-1 to start with the highest expectations they’ve had in decades+. With so many transfers across the mid major landscape only time will tell if some these teams we’ve played are legit or not. We don’t give Cam enough credit… dude played with a broken face last season!! He may have to play 40 minutes a game and I’ll sure he’d embrace it. Enjoy the ride!

Northern Iowa similar size team to us is all. I’m not expecting us to win at Clemson. If we can play them tough in Chicago without the services of Gibson and Hicks most likely than I think this team will be ok the rest of the way. Of course I want to finish better than 10-8 but I don’t know what other setbacks may occur. I just don’t see this team collapsing this season. They will find a way to win each night despite who is playing. And how bout Cam recently?? Playing excellent!

Ankle injuries tend to linger like the back. Man I hope Hicks and Gibson can get healthy by next month for conference play. Glad they got the win and Conway is getting some run. Need more from you SS!!! Not to pick on him. I think he will step up. The Northern Iowa game will tell us a lot about our team 2 weeks from now. They aren’t a big team but they are balanced and share the ball. Healthy or not next month.. this squad is going at least 10-8 in CAA play or better.

Long Island shot 8-20 from the line tonight against St John’s. Also got out rebounded 45-24. Here’s hoping we are catching them while they are down.

Oh this wasn’t directed at you. You get it. We’ve all been tough on certain players throughout the years. I just think we need to praise Nic more and understand that the mental side of the game can be difficult at times. That kid cares a ton as they all do and I hate to see him press so much. 7-1 record thus far and we’ve only played 2 home games. Great job thus far.

Obviously Nic will be a pro after his Towson career ends.. I’m just saying ease up on the kid. He’s already had some huge games for us this season. These are college players and they are gonna have off nights.

7–1 record with 6 games on the road and all the expectations. Don’t care who the competition has been.. impressive start to the season. We all have to ease up on Timberlake. He’s playing 35 minutes a game. Averaging 15 points and more importantly his assist to turnover ratio in the positive. 19-16 Yes he struggled this weekend but he’s not a pro so expecting him to be great every single game is too much. 2-1 with no Gibby and Hicks for only 1 of the games.. This could have easily been a 0-3 road tourney. How many guys we play against Albany??? Don’t look now but PS has more groceries to cook with!

For those of you still living in the Towson area enjoy every moment. Such a special place. I desperately miss the season changes and just people back that way in general. Stuck here in crazy California until 2026 once last kid graduates then I can move. Always wearing my Towson gear proudly. Special place.

Fairfield comes in 0-4. Dangerous game if we aren’t ready to play. Fields is shooting 48% from 3 thus far.

5-0 with tougher games ahead. I watched Northern Iowa yesterday despite losing they were super efficient and a perfect test for our team next month. We really haven’t played a great 40 minute game. Best basketball ahead of us we hope. I know May and Conway need to defend better but I want to see these two guys play more and while shooting 9-24 from 3.. Conway was 2-4. Gotta find him minutes come CAA play. We have to be able to shoot the 3 ball consistently to get where we want to go. Hicks now 10 assists to 8 turnovers while averaging 21 minutes a game. Yes he needs to develop an offensive game but for this specific season I love this kid who defends and takes care of the ball. He’s gonna be a huge reason whether we dance or not. Not trying to put all on him but Nick and Gibby are guys who play hard and seem to never be 100%. Hicks is key to this season.
