Assuming Hicks gets the assignment? Any word on Gibby and his back? After today we have “3” in a row come Friday so I gotta assume Gibby not gonna play Saturday to rest his back.

Glancing ahead to Coppin State next week…. If I counted correctly they have 17 non conference games! That’s a ton. Only 3 of which are home. Fang Mitchell always played a tough non conference schedule back in the day as we know. As a fan I still wish we could have landed a bigger name for SECU this season with the returning group we have. Oh well. Can’t wait to see Hicks play Sessoms.. two Philly kids going at it.

UMass came to play today against Murray State. Beat Colorado. I think UMass may turn out to have a better season than we all thought.

Some positives in our 3 wins… Nic, Cam & Gibby are shooting 40% or better from beyond the arc Sylla is averaging 6.7 rebounds per game Our team assist to turnover ratio is 44-41 *Cam is 12 to 16 and that will improve I believe or at least not get worse Canadien Chris has averaged 5.5 pts & 3 rebounds so far.. bonus! Hicks is averaging 18.7 minutes per game as opposed to 12.7 minutes last season. That kid is gonna get better and better. 3-0!!! Good teams find a way to win despite playing poorly.

23-32 for 72%. Road foul shots win games. This team needs to hit the front ends better going forward but I’ll take it.

All good points. Pat’s Cats was of course a Pat Kennedy phrase used. Kennedy was a swill merchant. Skerry deserves a better slogan. I’m brainstorming. Again only played 8 last night so safe to assume a few more guys will eventually join this rotation. Russell has been a nice fit after 2 games and he knows when to give up the ball.

Time will tell if this UMass team will be in the lower half of the A10. I saw Towson players hustling and getting their hands in the passing lanes and making things happen. Not a complete 40 minutes but a nice answer to Monday’s lackluster performance. 2012 you are always a tough critic but I appreciate you. Always keeping us old timers grounded.

Absolutely right. Glanced at their roster.. Frank brought in “3” Gamecocks plus Kante etc. That roster looks loaded and deep! Our guys better be ready to play from the start!

I’m sorry I wasn’t at the game. Listened on the radio and then watched the highlights after. We did get the win right?? 67-62 Ease up it is only their first game. The sky is not falling. We know certain key guys (Nick & Cam) had off nights but their resumes say they are gonna be just fine. No clue why PS decided to only play 7 guys tonight. In comparison I just got back from the USF-Texas Southern game where USF committed 22 turnovers and their starter Julian Rishwain aka Swishrain had only 3 points in a 1 for 5 shooting night. USF got the win but their defense and rebounding and handling of the basketball were atrocious. Great to have such high expectations for Towson but we are gonna have a clunker or two this season and maybe good we got this one out of the way to start. CT, Gibby, Double S & Russell shot a combined 21-35!! Wow!

In Cam we trust! We said it a few seasons back that our trio of CT, NT & Gibson were a solid recruiting class and at times we’ve been down on them but considering the injuries two of them have gotten past and then how Charles just seems to love Towson 24-7 I believe this core finally may get it done. Lets enjoy this ride and instead of cracking them from time to time.. lets they stay positive all season long with these guys. We all know the writing is on the wall and we must win. Appreciate all the coverage. Albany up first! Goh Towson!

Conway is supposedly a great shooter. I’m sure he will be in the mix more once we start Nov 7th. We are gonna be fine.

I remember Thursday nights. Casa Mia’s dollar plate wings and 50 cent pizza slices. So darn good. Still can’t get good wings out here and pizza not very good. 25 Buffalo wings out here that are very small and not the same taste I remember costs literally $22.
