I don’t want to speculate about his health however if he did contract Covid I’m hearing about individuals having breathing issues for weeks+ after. Obviously he’s not been 100% for a long while and add to the fact he became a father before that with the lack of sleep etc. Vegas was 2 months ago and he scored 15 points in both games w/5 steals and he 10-12 from the line. Had 10 assists against Ohio State on Dec 8th. Then 8 assists against Navy. After the Drexel game he hasn’t been the same and obviously sick which was Jan 9th. 16 days later. I truly hope they figure out and fix. He’s been great for us when healthy.

Huge win. 15-6! I just want to express my best to Nolan & Hicks.. basketball aside.. I just want these guys healthy whether they play or not

Bounce back game on the road. These players and coaches have worked too hard to begin a losing streak. Let it rip Gibby and Terry gonna bust out with an offensive explosion. Lets go Towson. Positive vibes from San Fran-sicko!
-
Absolutely miraculous. Cam is a Pro and wasn’t surprised that he took the blame etc.. Leaders do that. He’s gonna win multiple games for us in the CAA tournament.. our March struggles are in the past.
-
Got hammered by friends yesterday.. “Typical Towson” Kinda wish that was a road game. Agree with Mat that they got find more shots for Gibson despite being heavily scouted in league now. He’s our shooter and needs at least 6-8 bombs per game. I’m not worried about Nolan going 1-8.. his points will come. I know Hicks is still out and with Nolan back it is hard find minutes but we couldn’t find a few minutes for Gill the past 2 games? Back to back games with Delaware now.. I smell a split but pray I’m wrong. Go Tigers…. In Cam we trust

Pat Skerry bday present!!

Here we come.. 5-1 and Nolan is back. We are the Hunters!
-
Speaking of which.. +16 in Spokane tonight. Timme has been awesome as of late.. They crushed BYU by 26

Love that arena and wish I lived back that way to attend. Love the sauce reference as cheesy as it may seem. Nice puff piece on the team…. keep it rolling.

Not one Gibby from beyond the arc highlight???? How dare they stiff our 🍛
-
“Ain’t no stoppin us now! We’re on the move!” All you younger Towson fans need to add McFadden & Whitehead to your music “There’s been so many things that’s held us down But now it looks like things are finally comin’ around I know we’ve got, a long long way to go And where we’ll end up, I don’t know” 13-5 and this is not fools gold. I think we have something special here. We all deserve this and the simple fact that eventually we will get Nolan and Hicks back and Chris/Derrick are fighting to get playing time tells me this group could really do something special. Time will tell.

Gill & Gibby show this evening. Lets go!!!

Truly appreciate the history.

Any word if we get Nolan or Hicks back today?

Shorthanded MBB holds on to beat Elon 59-54 (story up)

We tend to forget that Gray was a legit rotation guy for San Diego as a freshman way back in the 2016-17 season. He rebounded the ball efficiently and shot 40% from 3. I said early on this season that possibly his best basketball days are ahead of him. Takes athletes after major injuries to start feeling comfortable.. football (6 games) and basketball (8-10 games) where you truly forget about the injury etc. -

All about the team but have to point out Cam’s stats for a 6’5” player who normally plays the 3 but is needed at other spots etc 17 games/34 minutes/14.5 points/31 steals/8.9 rebounds/62-86 from the line/16-41 from 3 47 assists to 47 turnovers (so many more assists if teammates finish plays etc) This guy is a Swiss Army Knife player. Very Draymond Green like. -

I sure hope the Gill family drove the hour west over from Raleigh to see their son play and ultimately contribute to our 3rd CAA win of the season. Condolences to the Gibson family and quick recovery to Nolan & Hicks. “All hands on deck” says our Captain 👨✈️ Pat Skerry Our fanbase is all on board now.. here we come William & Mary!!!! -
With the no transfer sit out consequence I’m seeing kids go with a smaller school and then hoping to parlay it into a bigger school the following season. EG/ Bryce Monroe played at Sam Houston State last season and is now at San Diego. I know the AAU coaches out here in the Bay Area are advising kids with this approach. I love the guys we’ve gotten in the portal and for mid majors like us the days of a massive rebuild are over when you can pull experienced players in right away without having to sit. Crazy times in college basketball.
-
Safe to assume not having to sit out a season after transferring won’t be reversed anytime soon?

Gibson is Dan Crowley’s nephew and I’m glad he fell into our lap. I’d say he has at least another 3-4 games this season (praying for more) where he will light it up from 3!

Question on our sophomore big from Canada 🇨🇦.. as a freshman he played in 15 games and got his feet wet. Averaged 9 minutes. Has he just been over recruited with Paar in the mix or has he just not improved like we thought he would. I honestly thought we’d be seeing more of him this season. Just wondering.. bigs always take longer so maybe he is still in the mix for the long term?

Gibson leads MBB over Hofstra 78-66 (story)

He’s 6’5” and he threw a bounce pass to CT from just over mid court so naturally like he was Magic Johnson. The broken jaw, the way he sets screens for his teammates.. his patience and poise when he has the ball in his hands. He’s a special player and truly a Swiss Army Knife. Again I mentioned this before. Unlike seasons past this group of players just fits together nicely. -

I’m glad being cautious with Nolan and Hicks with those symptoms. Most of us remember Hank Gathers & Reggie Lewis. Heart issues however I don’t want to live through that sadness again for an athlete. Knock on wood both our guys get a clean bill of health soon. -

Great stuff Mat.. appreciated. PS praised Nick’s defensive efforts on Ray today. 2-1 CAA record and can’t wait to have Nolan back. 11-5 and this team is legit. Congrats to players and staff. PS- Gibson like a video game again today. When he’s in the zone it is very Curry like. -
Distance makes the heart grow fonder.. I’ve had no Winters for 25 years out here and so yes I’m overly positive but I see everyone’s point of view. I just take nothing for granted and again a depleted team or not we got a win after a Drexel game that drove us all to drink. Lots to fix but we weren’t even planning to have Cam playing already and this kid is truly special.
