Our foul shooting has been pretty damn impressive in this 4 game win streak. 14-22 then 13-15 then 19-21 then 20-21 This is a great sign going forward for Towson basketball. After beating this coach and team up early I truly think they’ve banded together and are gonna finish in the top 4 of the CAA

Omg. We are Towson. 2 steps forward and 3 steps back has been the norm. So I’m confident we will beat JMU and sweep the homestand and I really hope we go on to run the table in the CAA but we tend to fall back to mediocrity. Trying to stay positive but how many times have we all been burnt. Again I’ll take the wins.

I truly appreciate everyone’s input and look around... not many of us faithful left. I started in 91’ and so my balls are dark blue right now. If only we hadn’t played Florida so well earlier. PS’s comments and you tell me... ”I think we can still get there” ”Not making enough shots” “Worry about playing the right way” “Guard and rebound at a decent level” Go Tigers... I hope guys start playing better.

Charleston only had 2 turnovers and then shot 12-25 in the second half. And we only had 5 assists. Positive is we are getting contributions from Bertrand/NT/Gibson/CT... our young core. Let’s beat UNCW.. they are winless as well.

I can’t comment on this game because I was at the RedBox Bowl game today.. Cal vs Illinois. Mind you.. Levi’s stadium probably one of the ugliest new stadiums in sports.. erector set and the sun glaring truly takes away from your enjoyment of the game which I know sounds crazy. My 2 cents after reading PS post game comments.... he’s truly spinning. Yes I know we are stuck but he continues to have lost his team yet again this season. i know we have some young pieces that are gonna have some growing pains but how the hell did we fall so far from how we played at Florida!? At a loss as usual. I agree.. run the damn horses aka Timberlake and make it at least entertaining for us the suffering fans. Averaging 41% from the field, 31% from behind the arc and 68 points a game... push the ball Pat and get more baskets in transition aka layups and dunks. Easier said then done. Skerry just said this twice in postgame. Sounds defeated as a coach. Road foul shots... awful! Stretches of 6 minutes in the first half and 3 minutes in the second half where we didn’t score the ball. I wish him the best but I think it’s time for a change.

Understand not happening. But it just feels like he’s a dead man walking. Credit to him for doing the postgame interview. Never easy.

You’d think Neal is helping with shoot arounds!? I’m not even gonna touch the travel situation. What I sense now and what my gut tells me is that we are a group of individual players and not a program. Years ago we felt like a program meaning we had guys like Guthrie & Parker-Rivera who came to play every day and who brought a strong vibe to the program etc. I’m not in the locker room and have no clue how chemistry truly is however your upperclassmen are supposed to lead us and by all means these guys are not Pros so a bad game once in a while by an individual is understood. But ultimately I agree with many of you.. we aren’t recruiting the right mix of players and not having at least one exceptional shooter on the team is unacceptable. That being said we need to see the entire season. I hate comparing programs but I’m in USF’s backyard watching their games and beating Cal this past week was a mix of 3 point shooting and superior defensive adjustments. They went 1-3-1 to start the second half and it did wonders. Skerry is a class act and righted the ship for us. Rex Walters did the exact same thing while at USF but they had to move to Kyle Smith who in turn ran off “3” 20 win seasons in a row. I know the extension etc. $$$ We should be having more success with a new arena etc. Just continue to shit our pants. It is truly the time of the Mid Major Program and yet we seem stuck.. Need a fresh young mind to take over with a new approach. Worth the risk now although I haven’t thought that the past 3-4 seasons.

Of course I’m following 🏈 but not as closely as the 🏀 program. Didn’t we lose “5” players this season to knee injuries. Still managed to finish 7-5. Again maybe I’m way off but Ambrose has taken us to the playoffs twice. 2013 & 2018. How many times did Combs get us there!!?? Once!?? Why not another season!? I was under the impression that we are getting better and better talent with this coach in place!?

Having memories of a Pat Kennedy era game where they supposedly had to push the bus a little etc. Stuck on the freeway I believe. Year!? On a side note of course watched a ton of college ball this week. 6’9” or bigger Euro’s are all over the leagues. I know we had a kid previously who left quickly. Point being.. need to keep going after these kids... yes easy for a Hawaii or San Francisco to land however schools like Eastern Washington etc are pulling them in all the time. Just hoping we get in the mix more for them. Success rate continuing to climb on them. Let’s string some wins together over the locals. Go Tigers.. Cornell was a win for sure. We are Towson!!! I saw Hampton against University of SF today at lunch. Ben Stanley from Millwood HS... 24 points. Nice player.

Post game. Aside from driving and stepping on the baseline for a turnover. He played decent. 3 assists. Solid defense. Just a head scratcher why he’d leave for less minutes on the floor. New Mexico is all Jr’s and Sr’s so he should be playing in the post season. Good for him however he could have done all this at Towson. Oh well... the show must go on! Ps- Posting all those stats from ex Tigers... PS had a very bad stretch of recruiting. Yikes.
