Drexel hadn’t lost a game until last week. He had UNC Wilmington previously before them. The man is a guru and just doesn’t cut and paste.

Drexel was in it last week. We in essence should have bumped them this week when Lunardi updates it.

A win this week against Northeastern and I think we finally crack this list!!!

Dan Campbell showed yesterday that in sports coaching sticking to your guns and what got you there doesn’t always work in the postseason. I’m sure PS was watching that Detroit collapse and reminded that when we get to March you don’t have to coach the same exact way. Waking up today and happy for my Niners fans sons but also shaking my head at the pure stupidity of a coach and his stubbornness. If this is indeed our season to finally get to the Big Dance 🕺 then our players and coaches were just given a glimpse of what not to do! Now waiting anxiously for Bracketology to be updated and see where we hypothetically land!!! Please Please no Spokane!!!

I was hoping Towson would look into this QB. Michael Vick like who would have fit the kind of spread offense they would like to run. The Ex Navy Coach snatched him up. I’m gonna continue to spread the Towson name here in the Bay Area which in my opinion is very under recruited and of course very few choices to play if you are a 1-AA recruit.

Another win.. “Towson vs Everyone” Good teams find a way and we did yet again. Students back and I have this feeling the Towson Arena will have a huge crowd this Thursday for our paybacks to Northeastern!

Someone is gonna need to have an exceptional game scoring wise for us to win. 25+ points. Timberlake had 29 last season in one of the 3 meetings last season. Interested to see how we shoot from beyond the arc and of course at the charity stripe. We know about our defense and rebounding but if we can continue to be solid from 3 and slightly improve our foul shooting we are gonna be a tough out every game the rest of the way. 11am tip here.. can’t wait.

Tyler Tejada from Teaneck to Towson.. what a freshman season thus far!

Rule of thumb has always been 12-15 months for full recovery but I know for basketball players that time frame has been shortened. Rishwain who played for USF and now FLA had ACL surgery last January and returned this past November. I’d love to have Watson but I also don’t want him to end up like Leon Powe. Everybody has their own timeline.

Guthrie was such a great player off the bench for us. He brought this energy and desire that has yet to be matched by any past or current Towson bench player. Probably because of his maturity.. I believe he was already a Dad when he joined the team. This season has started to come together because of Tarke coming on. Remember how many of us were dismissing him as a so so player after his first game (Bryant I believe!?) Man has he been great. I’m just excited to have both Tejada and Lowery playing and contributing so much this season. We really landed “2” Swiss Army type players. Pat and staff get a “A” already for this freshman class this season. If this team can shoot 40% or better from beyond the arc “consistently” and improve their foul shooting I think we can beat anyone in the CAA. Time will tell. And how much do we owe Mat for all the coverage this season and in the past. I’m not in the area and rely on him so much for the insights. Throw Jake into the mix now as well. Tremendous coverage for the program which results in extensive criticism as well.. goes hand in hand. Still got this feeling this particular group does something big in the CAA tournament. Tejada has always shown he wants the ball and he’s a gym rat 🐀 working on his game. Maybe he’s what Carmelo was to Syracuse this season for us. Or KD for Texas? Not the same superstar players they are but a freshman who just willed us to win and changed our fortunes. Time will tell!
