CT had 11 & 11 last season against Monmouth. Need at least that and more to win.

Hanging as many community service banners in the rafters as anything for on court success is damning.
Facts are you friends. Don’t be scared of them!
Honest question do most of you have pro or college sports team that you root for and watch??
All “4” Philly teams. Stuck with them since birth. Inherited USF college sports being that I live next to the campus since 2000.
Monmouth next week.. can’t wait. Our quest for the dance starts. After seeing what Wake Forest has done I think we have a solid group to make a run at this thing.
Gonna be a fun ride.. enjoy.

Bethesda University Flames next season. Make it happen!

I certainly don’t want to damper your enthusiasm, but I’m not so sure Hicks’ return (assuming he does return) is going to move the needle to the extent you’re suggesting. However, I’d love for you to be right, and me to eat a heaping helping of crow.
I got a bet for you. Pistons go at least 10-72 this season. Not gonna break the Sixers record of 9-73 back in the 1972-73 season.
Lunch at whichever city we land.. disclaimer no alcoholic beverage included if it’s Salt Lake City.PS- And I’ll bang the drum on this one. Hicks is a co captain and he will help us when he gets back. Don’t forget about this young man.

Tarke now. Hicks soon. All the pistons firing. -
That UMASS win at home looking even better now as they will go on to beat Old Dominion and be 8-3.

Sulaiman 8 steals/Lowery 12 blocks/Tejada 11 pts per game
“3” stats that jumped out to me and “3” players that are gonna be fun to see develop!

Some talk that for his potential 200 win (asterisk per 2012) that Joe McKeehen will be in attendance playing cards on the concourse with Mark Ginsberg & Coach Shinnuck.. $1,000k buy in and winner takes all donated to NIL fund.

Maryland is up 4 under 5 minutes to play at Pauley Pavilion. Crazy.

They were 2-7 going into today. It is what it is.
Hope so. Nice guy but he’s been awful this year. Looks off. Technicals. Flagrants etc. . Maybe it’s the pressure or playing with lesser players. No disrespect to mr Towson but if his legacy is this season, he may be looking for a refund.
I think what you mention has some validity. He’s trying to do too much at times. No doubt he wants to be the guy who stuck around and helped get us to the Big Dance.
He needs to settle in come Monmouth game and focus on 1 or 2 skills during a game and dominate them. Keep it simple CT.
Everyone on this board is rooting for him. -

Too many threes. Need about half as many. Not good Looks when Suliman is shooting more than 1.
Beat a 2-7 team. Happy to be lucky to play them thr second gameThey did beat LSU who beat North Texas & Wake Forest.
Win #199 for Pat. I’ll take it!Charles gonna make us all look silly once he starts turning it around. That guy I won’t count out.

Pat said it in the post game.. our current freshman & sophomores have to play like veterans “to get where we want to go”
-
No OT game please. Win in regulation would be nice. I’ll be listening while shopping and driving up in Petaluma CA..

What a difference a week makes… both guys look exhausted.

See now that’s creative. We need more “man bites dog” shock stuff.
Have Pat out there at halftime letting a student shoot a bow and knock an apple off his head for a semester of tuition.
Have Shinnick walk the Arena with a swear jar and put those funds towards the NIL initiative.

I kinda always thought Towson game day promotions screwed up not doing some sort knockoff of Justin Timberlake night for Nick.
-
Joey Calcaterra he is not thus far but maybe he gets in a rhythm once Big12 play starts… 7 for 26 from 3 in 10 minutes a game is not good.

Rock bottom. 17 games left. Hope a plan is in place. Pat sounded defeated and broken in the post game. Monmouth shot 1-15 from 3 and their big man went 1-9 from the field. We held Rice to 5 points in the first half but then got his in the second half.
Watson, Conway, Hicks.. we don’t seem to have much luck like other schools. At a loss anymore.. can’t open up league play that “ disconjointed “
Coach had 13 games to figure out what kind of team he has and how to play and we lack identity and a lead player like Monmouth had with Rice.
