Spoke to an ex College coach today who said our current March Madness version will be dead in 6-7 years.  
Basketball will have a BCS championship and a mid major championship…. separate tournaments.

I respect loyalty and if this is the plan then so be it.  I don’t see us winning the conference staying complacent with the entire roster.  
Freshman bigs always take more time.  EG/Jazz Gardner at Nevada who was a 4 star recruit coming in.  
Why not add a transfer big with experience to fill the void of CT?

Better mid major towns on the East Coast makes us sound like we’ve had 60 consecutive sellouts at the Towson Arena and we’ve won the CAA 9 out of the last 10 seasons.  Complete bullshit! 

We need some sort of statement like this from our coach so we know what his plan is going forward.  

I was looking forward to see what Watson can do for us.

UConn likely returns the core of Clingan, Castle, Karaban & Johnson plus have a bunch of current freshman and sophomores. Add more shooters and make a run at a 3 peat which we haven’t seen in 50+ years. 
 

Towson should fire Pat now and hire Luke Murray ASAP but of course won’t happen.

I’m not advocating for fully playing the way Alabama and Charleston play but watching that game and last nights Bama Unc game, the offense is quick and free flowing. Such a breathe of fresh air from what we do.  Of course it’s about the Jimmys and joes too, but should be able to play without running 22 seconds of clock before getting into our offense for an iffy look at best 

That Bama-UNC game was so much fun to watch last night.

That's the sign you're a great mid-major program -- have a guy get you to the promised land and then they get hired by a basketball desert and they flame out in 3 years while you reload with another young up-and-comer and do it again a couple years later.  Not many successful mid-majors outside of Gonzaga keep their coaches around longer than 1-2 years after they go to the Tournament since everyone likes to snap up the hot name.  Few realized what he had in Spokane and wasn't swayed by crap programs in major conferences throwing big money figures at him.  You can't blame these guys from a bank account perspective but some of the decisions from a basketball perspective didn't pan out.  

Agree but keep in mind that Gonzaga going back 20 years ago has had a private jet 🛩️ for their flights and a paint company owner who has gone above and beyond to give that program everything they need and Few loves his fly fishing 🎣
