We had a coach here at USF back in the late 90’s Phil Matthews who called his players a very derogatory word during the game religiously.  Couldn’t do that today but it was common place back then.

Kyle Smith will be headed to bigger program and taking his staff with him.  Safe to say Wash St will be gutted for their start in WCC play next season.  
Randy Bennett gonna retire likely after this the 25-26’ season so they could really dip as well.  
Zags unlike other Mid Majors have been smart to stick around and continue to make dance every year.

Stoudemire really suckered Georgia Tech after his stint with the Celtics.  He was awful in Stockton. And Romar bouncing back for a his second stint was another poor decision. 
WCC is the Zags & Gaels first tier then USF and Santa Clara second tier and then the rest is all 4th tier.  BYU left.  The conference is bad right now. 

I’m sure they all know Romar not coming back.  Like rats fleeing the ship!  Who can’t recruit players to Malibu 😃

One takeaway from the radio broadcast and spoke volumes to me…. Coach said he wants teams that play Towson to walk away saying “that was a battle mentally and physically” I’m paraphrasing but you get the gist of it.   
I as a sports fan love seeing players play with emotion etc.  That being said sometimes all that emotion being expressed can wipe out a team’s energy etc. 

I can handle to an extent physical mistakes but the mental mistakes of stepping out of bounds etc drive me nuts. 
 

As a fanbase we are all mentally drained from this Jekyl & Hyde famedom we’ve been living for decades.  
 

I’m at a Ramada Inn in Burbank CA right now saying to myself one more week and we all get a break from this team and program.

Look, we desperately need a PG & some guys who can score next season. Needing these things and getting them are 2 completely different stories though. 

CT with a headbutt? Is this the WWF? He’s got his name all over the TU record books, in no small part due to the volume of games he played, but it’s time to close the book on the CT era.

Honestly, is anyone excited/optimistic about our chances in the tournament? Maybe we win 1 game, though I certainly wouldn’t be shocked if we’re 1 & done

Listening today Spiro made the point that PS won 18 games while losing 75% of his scoring from last season and 2 starters this season in Watson & Hicks.  
Mind you there is a transfer portal now Sprio and every college is in the same boat.  Win or lose in DC..  Skerry is not going anywhere it sounds.

Maybe this is just hearsay but I was told that International Players have a cap on the amount of NIL money they can receive and hence would be a better pursuit for mid major schools that lack funds..  again don’t know if this is indeed fact.  
What I do know is we are gonna sink or swim in the next few seasons depending on what NIL funds we come up with.  
The University of San Francisco has a ton of NIL support and hence have landed Mongo Mike and Johnathan Mogbo simply by outbidding other mid majors and more importantly providing housing for family members.
