Another season upon us.  Truly appreciate all the insights.  

Lets hope these recruits really get after it and buy into the system. 

I’m 45 and I want to dance before I die please...  is that so much to ask.  

The curse eats at me being that I showed up on campus in the Fall of 1991.  

Go Tigers...  come West to play in the near future...  USF & St Mary’s trip!

Romar brought in a real good freshman class.  2 transfer from Oregon we don’t have to worry about.  

Us playing them early with our new pieces is actually perfect for us.  

They return a core of Dunn, Cooper and Ross...  Ross is real good and had a great freshman season. 

Overall this program has program has been stuck in the bottom half of the West Coast Conference and hence a change needed to be made.  

They will play open style with a lot of freedom giving to his guards to create off the dribble and of course they will have the green light to let it rip from beyond the arc. 

We need to be fit and ready to run with these guys.  

Ok enough from me...   Beat Morgan State boys!

I miss them football guys..   cherish those Fall leaves...  can’t get that here in NorCal!

Humility and intangibles was stressed more than once which says a lot about what happened last season.  

Lots of ifs but man is this gonna be a fun season to watch and see how we improve. 

Again I must point out...  yes it’s about getting to the dance ultimately but our program is still in a really good place and we must acknowledge that.  We continue to get better talent and although some of it hasn’t always stuck around we are still getting it.  We couldn’t always say this in the past...  we’d get a player or two then some fillers. 

Maybe I’m the eternal optimist being that I live in the bubble that is San Francisco but I truly believe our time is coming.  Skerry is the right guy!

It still is a great time to be a mid major...  let’s not forget that.   Yes at times we’ve become a minor league for the bigger schools and yes the CAA had no tv deal but we are on the map.  Wichita State does it.  Gonzaga does it.   Loyola Chicago did it.  Why can’t it be us!!??

Miserable heat down there... enjoy.

His choice and so be it.  The show must go on....

It’s winter here in San Francisco and our tradition amongst hoops fans is attending the SF Pro Am summer league where I get to watch lots of solid potential college talent be misinformed by their guardings, friends and coaches.  

This is truly an epidemic in college ball now...  the transfer!

Oguine & Rorie will be Seniors..  they can flat out play. 

Thank god we are not playing in Missoula...  tough place to play and awful awful ride from the airport.

A Philly kid in Spokane!!??   He’s gonna really have to change his game drastically  to fit in there.  Yes they do well with transfers but Mark Few is a really tough demanding coach...  careful what you wish for.  

Does our awesome band pick up a JT tune  over the summer to perfect!?  Any picks!?

Highlighted by this Timberlake signing...  the more I read the more excited I’m getting..   is he Steve Nash!?  No.   

Could he possibly turn into a tough as nails winner like Ryan Arcidiacano!?  Maybe.  

Hope is a good thing Red and we got it back.  

PS...   2012...  Did you watch the games across the country this past season...   constant shuffling is the norm.  Lots of teams bring Freshman around slowly.  

Mental mistakes you get yanked...  plain and simple.  

Do me a favor and watch Roy Williams coach...  he yanks guys all the time no matter who they are.

I’m biased being a PS supporter and I’ll love Towson no matter where we finish in the standings.  

Something didn’t work last season.  Maybe a partial mutiny I don’t know.  The coach calls the shots and if certain players aren’t buying in then I’m happy they are moving on.  

This board has been super fair to all of them.  We may question certain things but we’ve always had their backs since I’ve been reading Matt92 and the rest of you.  

New Arena and plenty of nice gear...  trips.  

Almost wish some of these guys could understand how far the program has come.

Fundamentally sound would really help this squad.  

In my experience with Euros it’s either sink or swim.  They either get it and flourish or end up leaving after a season.  

I utimately like this move for the chemistry of this team.  I hope all these guys totally buy in next season. 

Hey hey!!!  Something I can actually speak intelligently about.  

What a weird season for USD after Lamont Smith had a fight with his girlfriend in a SF hotel after the final game of the season here where Gray had 18.  

Ashame cause he had that program moving in the right direction. 

Gray is a serviceable big that plays solid defense.  Consistency was his issue this season but lots of talent.  Season to work on game and his body.  

No brainer...  sign this kid!

Definitely not a Towson specific issue.  

Souley Boum (all freshman WCC selection) is leaving the University of SF after a great freshman season where he averaged 11 a game on a 20+ win team with only one graduating senior and a home schedule next season that features Stanford & Arizona State in addition to of course Gonzaga.  

Who knows anymore what makes some of these kids tick!!??  Winning sure isn’t always the desire and that is blatantly evident more and more. 

If a coach gets fired or you just didn’t fit the program then by all means but in this situation it’s a kid who wants to play up for a bigger school and more importantly doesn’t want to risk not starting as a sophomore.

So again I have a lot of respect for college coaches these days.

Pepperdine had an awful season and fired Marty Wilson.  Pencil in a win if we draw them.  Total rebuild for that program.

Stunned.  Well I’ll wait and see.  The program must carry on.  I’m as positive as they come and this puts a dent in my armor.  Well better to be gone and start fresh then come back with guys who possibly aren’t happy in the program right!?

I’ll support whoever represents us next season and I would just hope the AD supports Skerry 100% so that future recruits understand this is not some sort of epidemic and the coach is despised or something.  

He’s the man in charge and it’s his way or the highway!!  1960 or 1980 or now...  that can’t change.

What did we win with ZM!?   Tremendous talent and good luck to him.  The show must go on.

He gets two more seasons and I applaud him for trying to change up the chemistry etc.  It didn’t work this season.   It happens. 

We had major expectations and it fell short.  We will have low expectations next season but that’s not a bad thing.  

Our ultimate goal is to dance and we know that.  I’m as frustrated as the rest of you.  

College basketball has the most parody we have ever seen now.  Cut the guy some slack.  

Villanova are the champs.  Jay Wright has built a team with tremendous chemistry.  He doesn’t have every 5 star recruit.  

Skerry is not Wright but he literally came in and cleaned up our program.  

I love his energy and style.   He’s gonna make it work.  If I’m wrong then drinks on me when Towson travels to the West Coast. 

Our time will come!!!  Mark my words.  

Gray was a West Texas Juco.   We have hope!!!!   What a drive last night.  

Um...  Pac 12 having a bad year...  football and now basketball.   

Clark Kellogg looks silly now after saying Ayton was the best he’s seen in decades.   

Ok USC out makes sense now.  I’m still angry about St Mary’s...  wink.  

One other note...  do you remember the texting scandal with Sampson at Indiana!? Houston-Michigan will be a good one.  

Extra games ultimately help younger players.   No one remembers who won a CBI,CIT, NIT title of course.  

No harm in playing more....  love the game!
