I am looking forward to going to the tournament this week. I think the team will do well. We have a new group learning each other. And Fobbs is to good a player to continue shooting the way he has. Although the other teams have scouted him now. Gibson is going to be a good one. Tends to do to much at times. I must say Betrand has been a pleasant surprise along with Dottin. I believe they will have it figured out when the real season starts. But I am impressed with this team. I would love a Towson vs Florida rematch for the Championship. That would be fun and exciting.

Towson is looking good so far tonight fellas. I am loving Gibson. Thompson Is learning on the job. But his minutes are quality minutes. The team overall looks better without Howard in my opinion

I thought I saw this player recently on crutches and was waiting for more info. You confirmed that I did see what I thought I saw. Hopefully for a speedy recovery

I heard that we won today’s scrimmage by one point. We had two players didn’t play . And then two players had minor concussions during the game

Just a nagging linger that hasn’t gone away. I would’ve advised to sit completely until this week’s scrimmage

And I do have it on good authority that a main guy is aggravated with an injury and didn’t play much at all.

Overall were you pleased with what you saw? Did the return players improve their games over the summer. Who would you say is the leader or leaders of the team? With the conference being as open as it is. I was hoping we would have a chance this year. Especially that someone would emerge in the leadership category

Basketball is back. I am looking forward to the season. And the write up/predictions give me hope. I think the CAA is wide open this year and we actually have a chance to win it this year.

I’am hearing commitment coming soon. Of course until is done it’s not done. But some pretty good pieces are being put together for next year. With the departures in Conference we are in a very good position to win next year with this group. The Freshman have had a years worth of experience. Timberlake is back, Fobbs should be better with now the transfer who sat out last year able to play. The newcomers will help. Gibson I think is a quintessential point guard. There will be some scoring off the bench next year. I love the direction we are headed in, What do you guys think? We should be right there at the top in Conference

A transfer that will be eligible this year

I here another eligible transfer for next year may be coming to Towson very soon. 6’8kid. The future is looking bright. Next year we may be dancing in March. That’s the goal. Keep working hard Coaches

Is it injury related. I want everyone to play if possible. The kids work hard all year to get to this point. To have to miss a post season game this time of year with the season on the line would be tough. We have all played sports on some level and to miss big games are tough. I have Towson in a 10 point win. They are coming off a couple of close losses and a blowout loss. I think they will be motivated and ready to play to prove they are better than what they showed in the last game of the year. I expect them to play very well. Towson by 10

This is post season play and anything can happen. We have proven that we can beat any team in the league. And yes I still think we can beat any team in this conference. We can talk about firing coaches after the season or hiring new assistants. We can talk about what each player has done or hasn’t done. But let’s let them finish the season first. The fact is no one has been crowned CAA Champions yet. I would not be surprised if Towson went on a run to try and win this thing. Would You?

It’s after 9 pm and I stand by my earlier statement. Nothing I said was inaccurate. I just don’t think that the teams in are Conference are unbeatable on any given night. They don’t scare me. Towson may not win but they can win with this team when they do the right things.

You can download the CAA App on Apple TV as well. I will add that neither one of these teams scare me with what I have seen that we are capable of. I am looking for a win every time out now. I have now seen every team in the league and I am not that impressed. When we play both halves, keep our turnovers to a minimum and at least get shots every possession, when we get the right shots at the right time, when we defend well and grab rebounds, when we don’t commit silly fouls, when Skerry is quick about making the right adjustments, I will take my chances with any team in this league. I have watched all of these teams now and I just don’t see it to where they are so much better on a given night. I have seen teams have some good nights but not to the point that I’am going to hand them or guarantee them a win against us. Don’t include me on the list of those of you who do. I ‘ve seen growth in this team during the year and that’s after some key injuries. Towson can win these games this weekend.

I have never seen them play defense as well as they have played tonight. Skerry’s teaching seems to be paying dividends on that end. In the past I think they have been beating themselves with turnovers and the lost possessions. There were some tonight as well. They seem to be building momentum. Well done tonight anyway and was a good win against a well coached team and some skilled offensive players

But I think while we have not won very often in Conference play, they are competitive. A few less turnovers and a few more made shots, or a couple of key stops down the stretch and we are above 500 in Conference play. I think they can be learning from the losses which can lead to more positive results in the future. Now they haven’t played The top tier teams of the Conference, which begin this weekend but they have been in games. Those positives I have taken from watch them play so far

The freshman need more time to play and develop. Fobbs is a good all around player who has things that he can work on to improve, but passing isn’t one of them. Sure he took a lot of shots lately but that was due to the lack of offensive output. His role is not a set up role. Howard and Dottin should be your drive and dish players. Skerry overall is not doing a good job at getting the right guys in positions to score with the lack of offensive plays designed to do that. Defensively we are just not that good right now.

Fobbs is a very good addition to the team. Has a Chance to be a great player at this level. Looking forward to him turning the corner and Skerry continueing to molding him. Skerry has to let the kids play through mistakes and stop with the yanking for every mistake. They will be much more ready to play in Conference

Great win. Loved some of the adjustments by Skerry. I thought he let them play through mistakes a little more which helps their confidence build. Fobbs can score and is unselfish. If we can cut those turnovers and at least get shots up we would see continued improvement. I think this will be a boost for us. Conference play is around the corner and I expect to surprise some teams

I agree with everyone. Great shot for a win. I am looking forward to it. I have been able to attend every game except the Wesley game and tonights. There was a lot of excitement in the building for the Vermont game. The late rally in that game coupled with the GW loss to Vermont also gives us a decent look at a win. Having said that we have to go out and earn it on the court each game. We need consistent defensive play in both halves the entire game without frequently missing assignments. I do think we can be better than anyone thought initially by the time conference play rolls around.
