Man I can’t believe we wasted so much time on Chris Ferguson. Should have benched him week 4 for the year and see what else we got with the younger guys. I wonder if we’ll start Piggy and then in the second half switch to TJ3 to confuse the defense. Rob loves to “play chess” and not let anyone know who the starting QB is until we get to the first game. Didn’t realize we have no guys returning who have caught an interception or who can kick with confidence. That’s certainly a concern Running backs and wide receivers could have a strong year.

They should call the towson college of business and economics' alumni at Full Tilt Brewery down York road to bring their beer truck and sell craft brews.

not a bad idea, should send a few towson football players uptown with schedules and flyers. Put them up at all the hot spots. Barleys backyard, CVP, rec room, the mall, pasta mista, THB, etc. Take photos and tag everyone on Instagram. Could be big marketing impressions for basically $0

This may be the new normal. 50+ transfers per year all sold the same dream of “your life will be better here vs there” I was a naïve, easily tricked, money hungry 18 year old. These master manipulator coaches would have gotten me to play in the middle of nowhere if they promised me a little food and beer money each month. The FCS may dissolve to the top 3 conferences / a realignment of top programs who are invested in football. The rest will drop to D2, D3, or do away with football entirely. Football is already a money loser for lots of schools, I can’t see how spending more money is sustainable. I read Rutgers has paid $450,000 in DoorDash orders because they promised the players unlimited food delivery if they played for their program. I can’t see how there is a viable ROI there. A losing team trying to keep up with bigger/richer programs and they are investing in….chicken wing delivery. Silly

I appreciate he is trying to be active on Twitter, but some of the videos are cheesy. Maybe he needs to step into the center for the arts in search of an acting coach

Man I tell ya what I can’t wait to see what the team looks like this year! Lots of talent and 10+ years of experience for Rob guiding the ship. Gotta think we have a shot to surprise some people this year. Maybe not West Virginia, but go toe to toe with any body in the CAA. Hopefully they guys have had enough time together to build some chemistry. anyone else feeling good, bad, or indifferent with two weeks left til the season starts?

I like that we have a stable of QBs and RBs. Hopefully Rob can mix and match them just right to find the best combo of skills. Also, good to have some depth in case the injury bug infects us again. Could be a strong year for towson football and basketball!

I appreciate the creativity, but can’t see this happening. Would be cool tho. They have referred to the CAA as the SEC of FCS football so it would make sense to get all the big players in one conference

Bucknell. W on the road, hopefully lots of guys get to play and we beat them handily Morgan W at home - hopefully a big crowd from both schools creates the biggest party in Baltimore county. Hopefully Morgan doesn’t pass interfere on every play and we are able to put up some points in front of a packed house of 10,000 things could be looking optimistic two weeks in at 2-0 WVU L on the road (reality sets in, oh we might be better than Morgan and bucknell but can’t beat a D1 with some really big boys) UNH W at home, I think we get revenge from last years 4 turnovers on the road. They have to come a long way to play in the brutal Maryland heat. I remember us coming back from down 20 at home to UNH in 2012 so they don’t scare me. They are soft Delaware L on the road. Just when we thought we were looking good. The emotional rollercoaster is just getting going. Lose bad to our rival blue chickens in heartbreaking fashion  Elon W on the road. We get back to our winning ways against an Elon program that I don’t think is all that impressive WM L at home, they beat us bad last year and come in our house and embarrass us in front of a crowd of 3,800. We struggle to score against their big strong d Monmouth W on the road where we let the CAA new comers know that we are the toughest team in the league and you are going to be in pain after a Saturday with the York road bullies  Villanova L at home big cat blue blood Villanova comes to town with 2000 fans to match our 2000 fans and they overpower us offensively Stony Brook W on the road. The sea wolves can’t seem to stop the towson tigers. Luck, grit, and will pulls out the win for the black and gold  Hampton W at home again welcoming a new comer by sacking their quarterback 7 times. Towson gets the win, then waits a week only to find out they get snubbed by the playoff committee after a wild 7-4 run I do believe we lucked out with a light travel schedule. Bucknell isn’t far away nor is West Virginia. Elon NC and stony brook NY are the fathest we have to go. No long trips to New Hampshire or Maine this year. Light travel hopefully keeps our guys well rested and healthy

I’m sure the team has been loving that hot humid 100 degree august weather in Maryland.
