Ugh flosports needs to go. As for tonight’s game, hope to see more development of Gibson as a facilitator and more ball movement all around. Spread favoring us at 5 which to me means not a lot of faith in this Towson team.

Are only home games and caa games on flosports???

Guys we have another couple big opportunities next week to still get that big win. Love the aggressive scheduling when we have a team that can make it a game with these kind of teams.

However, there is NOTHING in our recent history (last 15-20 years) that suggests we'll rise to the top. The sample size on Skerry is large enough now to know he's a very mediocre coach who will not be a positive difference maker in close games.
When will Towson ever get its epic victory?? Evansville got theirs earlier this week. UMBC got theirs this past March. App State got their back in 2007. Since becoming a Towson fan as a freshman in 1996, I haven't had the pleasure of a true MAJOR win. Getting to the FCS Football Championship game was fantastic (and I was in Frisco to cheer them on), but not having that one marquee, put-us-on-the-map win is soooooo incredibly frustrating. We just don't seem to have it in us.
I think it's time to move on from Skerry.
Come on man. We just took #15 in the country to the wire. Give credit where credit is due.

Hopefully when Timberlake comes back and starts playing 20mpg, you can move AB to small forward for Fobbs or even Gray. Betrand flashes at times that he can be special. Or he can be invisible. I think he showed tonight, that he should mix the slashing to the basket with the occasional three-point shot. Put 10 pounds on Gibson next season with Dottin, Betrand, Timberlake, etc. He's the dude who needs the ball in his hands. Maybe not now, as a freshman in his first road game and fourth game overall. But we're not used to doing that at the end of the games. It's either put the ball in Benimon's hands, Burwell's hands, Moto's hands, Keith's hands, Morsell's hands, and now Fobbs. None of those are point guards. At some point (pun intended), it's time to let one of the kids run the show.
All the names you listed proves skerry’s MO at the end of games. He’s too predictable and we don’t have a dominating player like that. Play what the defense gives you.

Team played a hell of a game! Sure we have a closing problem but I think we need to stop running plays for one person and start running to find the open man. But we have a team here boys! A lot to look forward to this season!

They have to show up this game. No excuses. If they don’t, i will be blaming coaching. That being said, they win this and win out, gotta give it up to Ambrose and the coaching staff. This game is a who wants it more type game.

Harvard was getting too 25 votes so that’s a big win for Northeastern. Towson has some serious opportunities ahead of them to show what they are made of with Kent St, Florida, and Xavier. Love that we playing these teams. See what we are made of!

Why is UNH a lock? They are 5-4 this week if they lose to JMU. And then they play at Albany next week which has played everyone tough. Maine has played better recently too. No guarantee they win these games....

Food truck idea is a good one. Shouldn’t cost much because these trucks are looking for business. Also like the voucher giveaway idea. Draws students for the game and keeps students at the game for much longer than they have been staying.

Idk if we have a game chat anywhere but watching the game and need to vent. O line is nonexistent so far...

I am very optimistic about the program as a whole but I just wish some on the field things would change a little. Corners playing off all the time has been a something that has been happening since the start of the Ambrose era. I guess it's just a defensive philosophy but man it gets frustrating when we are up against an offense that picks us apart short over over and over again.
As for the program, we have made ourselves a perennial fringe playoff team (other then riding the TWest train). Just want keep seeing improvement in the program to be a consistent playoff team. The question is can Ambrose and his philosophies do that? I don't know. But I will say that we shouldn't assume the grass is always greener. I don't think people would be beating down the door to coach at Towson.

So when are we going to see name changes from matt and 2012? can we have to Kings in a kingdom?? Lol
-
Awful play call on that last set of downs. 2 throws on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1? I know we have Flacco but get the first then you have 4 shots to throw to the end zone. Defense was awful tonight. No d line pressure.

I think I did monthly but I didn’t look into it that hard. Guess I should have lol. Tigers are looking dominate in this one!

Caved and bought flosports. Shane injury on a kick return and it doesn’t looked good. Had to be helped off....

Anyway to watch today’s game if you don’t have a ESPN+ account??? Or anyone wanna hook me up with a log in?

Seems like a crappy deal for fans. Being a non local fan, CAA.tv has been a blessing to watch Towson games for free. What is the benefit of this deal for the conference?

I agree with this. And honestly it doesn’t matter who we play. We need to win the conference. That’s the priority and that’s what will get us games against the likes of UMD more often and hopefully at SECU every once in a while. But we need to focus on the conference and winning the tourney. That’s the next step in progressing this program
