Probably why you should never give the ball to a big on a break when they have to put the ball on the floor. Still terrible. Beyond. Ref was 25 feet away and just saw the flop. Now Delaware pulling away after Dickey charges into Tucker, who might have been late. They aren't going to foul her out. One thing this team does not do is give up. mat1992 2,237 Report post Posted March 4, 2022 This game is over. No clue why Dianne Richardson didn't call timeout after Gary hit a three to cut the lead to 10. The ref thought she did. But she did not and Delaware just continues to either score, get the rebounds off misses and score again. Make shots and when you don't get the rebound. Pretty simple game. And when you are down big, I don't get the long 2s. Nice comeback to get it to 4. No doubt, Tucker is tired. She's not used to playing that many minutes and Kubek being out was devastating. But she was there early when Delaware jumped out big. Not sure they were ready to match Delaware's intensity, which again is strange considering they barely beat us last time. "They were knocking down shots." "They started out, hitting shots and getting in transition. Hard to get back into the game from a deep hole against a good team." We played Delaware down to the wire in the first game. Played poorly last night at the jump and then Kubek gets hurt (elbow to the eye). That doesn't help as we have little depth up front and most of the depth is at the 1-3. Not saying they would have won with her, but the game would have been much tighter.
