As far as future President Ginsberg goes, I really don't know how supportive he will be toward athletics. It's too early to tell. Most presidents are all about academics first, but other than Robert Caret, I haven't seen or witnessed a president that cared a lot about athletics. As for football, I wouldn't worry too much about the fact that GMU didn't have it. I think presidents that come here realize that the President's Box at the U and the tailgates can be a great way of meeting donors and future donors at least five times per season. The early word that I have on the future Prez is pretty positive, especially from the athletic side.
