But Toomey calls TO when Loyola gets the ball back. We know what the probable result will be. Stout with 18 saves. There's the difference, but we've also missed a ton of shots right at the crease. Never seen anything like it but not surprised. Can't score. Had f-ing ball and did nothing with it. Mikey got stripped and then DeMaio gets stripped and didn't get back. Shame for Luke Downs. mat1992 2,237 Report post Posted February 28 This team is definitely better than years past but some of our old issues crept up last night. Face offs were ok but should have been more dominant against a unit that was around 36% Shooting reminded me of the Mount game. Went low early and switched in the second half but couldn’t take advantage of some very long possessions. Hit some pipes but when a goalie is hit, he can get in your head. Tried to force some tough passes around the crease and they weren’t giving up many layups. When they did, we couldn’t convert. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

mat1992 2,237 Report post Posted March 2 Playing UMBC at a rainy Unitas Stadium. Last year, we scored four goals on 12 shots in one of the worst displays of lacrosse you'll ever see. Their trying to slow the game down and we're trying to speed it up. Mikey and DeMaio both have a couple of goals. 12 turnovers for UMBC and 8 caused by Towson.
