Great player and a really good good guy. I am very sorry to hear this. I was on campus during his tenure and Bobby, was a starter on some great teams. Bobby was from Silver Spring, and was in the starting lineup with Savia Shape from Cambridge, Pat McKinley City College Baltimore, Roger Dickens City College Baltimore, and Brian Matthews City College Baltimore. Rodney Norris Cockeysville Dulaney, and Michael Dukes Baltimore Southern were the first subs off of the bench. Baltimore was not recruited by d1's at that time. It took the breakout game of Baltimore Dunbar blowing out DeMatha and subsequently Loyola Blakefield and Mt. St. Joe beating DeMatha and Mackin DC in a doubleheader for the Baltimore guys to get attention. If it were today, Mckinley, Mathews, and Dickens would all be playing at power five schools. The Towson 1976-78 teams were absolutely loaded with talent, ranked umber 1 in D2, and often played in front of capacity crowds at the Towson Center. Bobby was a big part of that success. RIP
