I’m assuming Blounge was making a tongue-in-cheek reference to the few occasions when someone only vaguely familiar with the Towson name confuses us for an HBCU. It has literally happened to me a couple of times over the years.

Just tongue in cheek. Back in 2016 it was a rumor that towson had enough diversity that they earned hbcu status
