Sorry that I haven’t been around to chime in. I went to the game yesterday. I think what we all saw yesterday is exactly what we are at this point, Thats an unacceptable performance for the program . I don’t know what/when/if there is an answer for the 2021 season. I DO KNOW THIS! Nobody and I mean nobody, is taking this tougher than Rob Ambrose . Hehas been totally invested in this program since the day he became head coach. There is no one that cares more about the program than Rob. To say that there is “no accountability” in this program is a chickenshit comment. Since the day he took this job there has been nothing but accountability. Accountability, Intergrity and Familyhave been the cornerstone of Robs teams and his program. Obviously, things have gone sideways. Everyone is upset and there is a lot of criticism and finger pointing (rightly so). STOP THE CHICKENSHIT COMMENTS!

If it gets to the point at the end of the year where a coach has one year left and he knows he's going to have difficulty in recruiting players due to his contract. He might look elsewhere at other positions. Not saying it will happen here. Just saying it's happened at other places.

There isn’t accountability within the program nor Athletic department. He literally can do what he wants and not get fired. Again, your involved with the team so there’s a certain level of black and gold colored glasses you wear. I think we all agree that he does care. That’s obvious. He played here. That’s always been Apparent and there is no question about that. He obviously isn’t trying to lose. Why would he?! He’s got a cushy ass job with zero pressure and unlimited security. But he’s not a good coach. He’s had plenty of time to prove otherwise. If a program can’t fire a coach with 1 year left on his contract, you have to question the feasibility of that program even existing. Is it worth a 4-7/5-6 low level football program?

It now runs through the end of next season. You can be sure opposing coaches are telling HS kids we are trying to recruit that RA is a lame duck, and if they come to Towson, they might be out in the cold once a new coach takes over. So, expect a ton more disappointing/underperforming transfers next season. Or maybe we’ll just give RA a contract extension 😳

There’s really not much to say. The final score belies the vast gap in talent between us and NDSU. I guess it’s a moral victory in the sense I thought we’d lose 52-0. The play calling is putrid. The sad thing is you know that RA, with all the FBS transfers he brought in, was trying to build this team specifically for tonight’s game and the game at the end of the season with JMU. Either his assessment of the talent of the transfers he brought in was woefully off mark, and/or he & his staff has failed miserably in coaching them up. Next week vs SDSU promises to be very, very ugly. After the bye following next week’s game, it’s time to move on from Ferguson (who won’t be back next season in any event) and use the last 7 games of the season to audition the other QB’s on the roster. Of course, there’s always the possibility Ambrose brings in a talented transfer QB in the off-season. Oh, wait, never mind

Our football team suffers from the same problem as our basketball team....the head coaches are NOT head coaching material. Probably exceptional as assistants but in over their heads as head coaches at this level. Both are DIII level caliber head coaches......their recruiting, team prep, player development and in-game coaching decisions substantiate my claim.

Incredible how unimaginative the play calling is. Not to mention predictable. When you’re outmanned, as we obviously are, why not at least try a gadget play? And another brilliant set of play calling down on the goal line, after the long kickoff return. It’s nothing short of infuriating

What’s sad is that in his mind he thinks he’s doing an amazing job.
