MBB received one vote in the AP Poll

“Somehow” is a byproduct of 10 W’s in a row, including 2 in-season tournament trophies ? on 2 different continents. Ok, so Duke isn’t quivering in its Nike’s & we don’t have a W over a P5 school, but so what? For a program that was the laughingstock of D1 just a few years ago, getting 3 AP top 25 votes is pretty cool. Rather than being derisive about it, I say enjoy it while it lasts.

Again, nothing wrong with getting good publicity. In 2011-12, our national pub was all negative. The streak is going to stop at some point, likely in the next two games, but let's hope we build a new one in the CAA.

Yeah the "somehow" was because I dont think we are deserving of 3, loyola chicago deserves those 5. We are 10-1 and GOOD. And loving the publicity. We deserve the top 10 for a mid major. Dont get me wrong tho, I am HYPED for the team as I am friends with a few of them. Oakland game should be good.

Terrific start to the season. Over the course of the season, we'll eventually lose enough games that we won't be getting any votes in the AP Poll, but I could see us staying in the mid-major polls all year if we keep playing this well. Oakland will be tough.

Joe Lunardi, ESPN bracketologist (can you get a degree in bracketology?) has us playing Florida State in a 12-5 matchup in Boise. 

Agreed that’s it’s way too early for such prognostications, but boy isn’t it fun to be in the conversation!
