He’s certainly experienced, having played at both UM and WKU. mat1992 2,231 Report post Posted July 17, 2022 Piggy's numbers at Western Kentucky were a bit better than they were at Maryland, but I know low completion % (58%) and low yards per attempt (5.4). No Jmu no Ndsu already makes for a much easier schedule but is 7-4 and sneaking into playoffs and getting smoked worth another year of lame duck coach? The offense could be exciting and we don’t even get 7 W’s, if the D is porous, which recent history suggests is not unlikely. Now, with a weaker schedule on paper, could we weasel into the playoffs and be 1 and done? Sure. Here’s where I’m somewhat conflicted to be honest. I want the team to make the playoffs, but, if it turns out to be 1 and done, thus earning RA another one year extension, is that really in the long term best interests of the program? 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
