Tough time of the year to get a pink slip, but being an assistant coach is a very nomadic gig. I hope we get a D coordinator who’s philosophy is to blitz as soon as we get off the team bus, as opposed to playing a vanilla “bend but don’t break” brand of D.

Makes sense. Lyndon was never a defensive guy and our secondary sucked.

I would have thought they would have waited for the early signing date to pass. Last year, they made a ton of changes but many came before the second date in February or right after. Maybe they didn't want it publicized but it was on Twitter so sorry.

If these are the only changes and the defense gets the blame, with not any accountability for the offensive play calling, this boat has major holes in it. Specifically, if you keep looking at the head coach's little brother and expecting different results year after year, that is text book insanity.
