Fall to 6-7 against a below average schedule.
Hold a team at home to 51 points (most in the last 3 minutes)  and 1-15 from three and still lose by 4 possessions?!
Knew this team would struggle to score 55 but  35?!
Year fucking 13 and we are getting beat by new teams in the league. What are the excuses?  Love to hear them. Hicks? Sure his 2.2 points really helps. Conway?  Wouldn’t have Tarke then. “Just wait for Tarke”. A bad offense player in a bad league. Shit, he really helps, NOT. Our offense may be worse with him out there.

This crap shouldn’t be and isn’t accepted by a young coach new to a job. Not an older coach in his THIRTEENTH year with numerous 4th and 5th year players.  Everyone regresses under skerry!

FIRE PAT!!

Tonight was disgraceful. Obviously the coach should be fired (not just for tonight’s debacle). Sadly, that’s not going to happen. And btw, contrary to another thread on this board, I believe his contract isn’t up until the end of the 2026-27 season.

I truly believe that if Steph Curry somehow joined our team, Skerry would turn him into a 38% shooter (25% from 3), but who would be a scrapper on D

Messiah jones was. 9 and 5 game shooting 60% at wofford. Chase paar averaged 5.5 and 5 while shooting 55% at gw. They come to Towson and a step down at the caa and suddenly look like the guys who get their power zapped in space jam. No disrespect they are role players but just examples of players who have gotten worse.

This is the least surprising result. This game was very “on-brand” for Skerry & Towson. Wash, rinse, repeat….

Obligatory Disclaimer: Pat Skerry is the nicest coach in college basketball. He is a pillar of the community. He graduated his players. He does sincerely do amazing work for great causes. He would probably be a really fun dude to have a beer with.

It’s enough, I never thought I could be apathetic. This is starting to become Pat Kennedy jacket under the bus tire bad.

Don’t remind me. That one hits hard.. instead of “pats trench coat” it should be “Skeets gold blazer”

Glad you put that last paragraph in there…if not you’d get criticized

It is, but a small part. Graduating players and  making them better men is a goal. But winning games is also a goal. Afraid we are turning into the laughing stock of an already weakened conference. (Not the women’s teams though)

187-161 in the last 11.5 seasons… 16-14

That may be true regarding the Olympic sports that receive no funding, but for a sport that gets serious funding, winning is the goal....ask PS...he will tell you he does not get an extension for graduating players.....we ain't Harvard. If he went 30-0 and did not graduate a single player.....he would be a folk hero.

Harvard is the TU of the northeast 😆

If he went 30-0, he’d be off to a P5 gig in a shot. And therein lies the problem-if he had won a conference championship, he probably would have moved on, in the natural progression of things. Instead, we’re now in year 13 of a seemingly never ending cycle, where he wins just enough to hang around, but not enough to get us to the next level.
