mat1992 2,235 Report post Posted December 29, 2019 My guess is the line would be Hofstra -4 or -5. Just the facts: Last year, with of course, the nation's leading scorer, JWF, they won by 23, 84-61. Needed overtime to win the second game by nine. Hofstra was a 9.5-point favorite in the first game and 13 in the second game. They've won four straight and covered three of four. mat1992 2,235 Report post Posted December 29, 2019 Just saw the Hofstra boxscore against JMU. Not very impressive defensively. You know they can score but they allowed the Dukes to shoot 48% from the field. However, JMU did well, what they normally do in basketball against good teams. They found a way to lose (7 of 22 from the line, 7 of 24 from 3pt). It's a pick-em now but I would guess Hofstra will be a slight favorite tomorrow. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
mat1992 2,235 Report post Posted December 29, 2019 Even though no Wright-Foreman, I think Pemberton, Buie and Ray are just too good for us to play man. I would expect to see some zone tomorrow.
