My sources tell me the decision was green lighted by Doc the Tiger, after having consumed several adult beverages. And yes, the special teams did cover themselves in glory yesterday, did they not? Although it was inspiring to see our punter kick the ball into the stratosphere. As it soared majestically through the crisp early autumn air, I said to myself, “gee, I wonder if he just out kicked the coverage”?

So if I read his quote correctly we had discipline issues 48 hours prior to the game that resulted in depth chart changes??!! No need to change divisions etc. Go out and hire a new coach. Change is needed

Now, to continue my tirade from yesterday 😉, I forgot to mention another mind numbing aspect from yesterday’s game, when UNH kicked the ball out of bounds, giving us a choice of getting the ball on the 35-yard line, or making them kickoff again. Naturally, Ambrose chose the latter. On the ensuing kickoff, we got penalized for an illegal block in the back, resulting in the ball being moved back to our 12-yard line. So, net result was a penalty on UNH and WE lost 23 yards. Ok, I get it, maybe Hunter breaks a long return on the re-kick, but the play just seemed to me to sum up how the season is trending

Devin Matthews averaged 10.4 yards per carry ... on four carries. Can someone explain why he was on the sideline most of the game while Mighty Mouse D'Ago Hunter (3.4 yards per carry) got the lion's share of snaps? (And where was Mystery Man Joachim Bangda, whom RA described as "another bullet in our arsenal" in his interview with Spiro?) Of course, these and other questions of this sort have been asked by us for years on this board. Please, God, make it stop. Send the bad man away.

The combined score of our last two games. I don’t see how even the most ardent Ambrose supporter could defend this dreck

2 straight weeks of disciplinary issues is not a good look. No head coach can watch these kids 24/7, but, whether it’s fair or not, the buck stops with the head coach

From what I heard, 48 hours before as Rob said and also something happened last week in Morgantown. So yes, it's bad enough to lose games and then lose players not necessarily due to injuries.

Yeah, thought that was strange. Hunter struggled yesterday and you’re asking a lot for a guy that small to break a long one when he’s been on the field about 70% of the time as a running back. Probably Rob’s call though Lyndon might have suggested it

We need an OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR … that’s a big issue with this team!!! We don’t have one on payroll!!

Exactly. When we were good and fun we could barely draw. It is what it is. Sorry everyone, it doesn’t going to change. Baltimore and Maryland isn’t a sports or college football town. the talk for “expanding the stadium” is laughable. No one comes as it is. The students don’t and have never cared. If 3k students come for a half that’s considered good. The home side full of regular ticket payers and “the Vocal football alumni” is barren week after week. caa football is a bunch of private schools and New England state schools. We don’t fit this profile anymore. (Delaware either but for some other reasons)

If we aren’t going to try and be competitive and no one cares (look at todays attendance ) it’s worth a look but the old players on here will kill you for this view

GOH DII or DIII football again? Seems like a better fit for this school in every aspect.

It’s really hard to find any positives about this game. Well, more like impossible. The low point for me today was the dreadful clock management at the end of the first half, which cost us an opportunity to kick a FG. Of course, we had no timeouts to take, after foolishly burning 2 TO’s in the first 8 minutes of the first quarter. It wouldn’t have made any difference in the outcome of the game, but just emblematic of the ineptitude of the coaching staff. The other mind numbing aspect of today’s game was running 5’4 D’ago Hunter up the middle on 2nd & 20. Not to be outdone, we ran him up the middle again on 3rd & 18. At the time my thought was that this was RA’s Roberto Duran “no mas” moment. He simply waved the white flag 🏳 and checked out. Sad. The reaction to today’s putrid performance of the people sitting around me at the game today was equal parts disgust, resignation, apathy and even laughter at the ineptitude on display. In a sense it doesn’t matter as we’re obviously not going to the playoffs, but I really do wonder where are the W’s on the remainder of the schedule? But I suppose it doesn’t make a helluva lot of difference if we go 4-7 (wildly best case scenario) or 2-9

Well, let’s face it, Ambrose is a dead man walking, in terms of his future as HC of TU. Mercifully, the end is not far off the horizon
